Case Studies
The four case studies bring the facts and figures of Set in Stone to life. In each case study, the narrative of the decision-making process and the multiple factors that influenced the direction, evolution, and ultimate success of each project are laid out. The stories describe what we heard about how each project unfolded — from when the project was conceived to when it was completed — directly from the people who were most involved.
The case studies are meant to provoke productive discussions rather than to demonstrate either effective or ineffective handling of an administrative situation. The authors would like to thank all of the people who graciously agreed to be interviewed.
