The Downtown Forum Series

Each year, our public and working conference attract the collaboration and involvement of scholars, experts, officials and practitioners throughout the nation to address issues such as the arts and humanities in public life, public arts controversies, civic historic preservation and development, state cultural policy, and the future of public television.
In addition to our annual conferences, the Center hosts numerous academic workshops throughout the academic year and offers quarterly downtown briefings to present the latest research findings impacting cultural and the arts directly to arts advocates, policymakers and the general public.
