Panelists including architects, urban planners, economists, policy analysts and activists will discuss questions of landmarks policy and key Chicago cases including Soldier Field and South Michigan Avenue historic district.
The program was put together in collaboration with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Chicago Architecture Foundation, and the Landmarks Preservation Council of Illinois. Conference co-chairs are Richard Epstein, James Parker Hall Distinguished Service Professor of Law at the University of Chicago, and Vince Michael, Director of the Historic Preservation Program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
